Gilly is a seasoned Solicitor Advocate with extensive experience in various areas of law, including civil, commercial, company, conveyancing, divorce, and criminal law. She is qualified to represent clients in both Civil and Criminal courts, demonstrating her versatility in legal matters.

Gilly holds a Law degree, an MBA, and a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution, equipping her with the skills necessary to navigate and resolve intricate legal issues that span multiple areas of law. Her comprehensive educational background is complemented by her prior career in business, which has provided her with valuable insights into commercial and regulatory law, particularly in licensing and transport.

Building upon this foundation, Claire further honed her skills as an associate solicitor for a local firm, where she gained diverse experience across various legal areas before assuming her current leadership role in February 2024.

Hannah Nell Morris

Hannah Nell Morris brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to her role as the resident Solicitor at our Holyhead office. Graduating with distinction from the University of Wales, Bangor in 2009 with a Law Degree, she continued her pursuit of excellence by achieving commendation in her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2010. Committed to continuing learning, she ensures she is up to date with changes in legislation as well as technological improvements that can assist her work.

In 2023, Hannah attained her qualification as a solicitor, marking the beginning of a fulfilling career journey that she thoroughly enjoys. With a diverse practice encompassing Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Conveyancing, and Divorce, Hannah’s dedication to her clients is evident in every aspect of her work.

Rebecca Thomas

Becky joined Winrows Law in August of 2024, starting as a receptionist before quickly transitioning into her current role as a Legal Secretary. Her career in law is underpinned by a strong foundation in public service, having spent eight years as a generalist adviser with Citizens Advice, where she gained invaluable experience in supporting individuals across a wide range of legal and practical issues. After completing Caseworker training, Becky specialised in debt advice, working closely with clients to resolve complex financial challenges.

Driven by a desire to advance her career in law, Becky pursued and completed her Law degree at Bangor University, graduating in July 2023 with a 2:1 in Law with Criminology. She is now undertaking the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with the aim of qualifying as a solicitor, focusing on Criminal Law and Conveyancing—two areas that particularly interest her.

During her studies, Becky gained practical legal experience working for a solicitors’ firm involved in the high-profile Infected Blood Inquiry. This role sparked a deep passion for criminal law, motivating her to pursue a specialisation in this field.

Balancing her professional ambitions with a full personal life, Becky is the proud mother of three children. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as walking in the mountains with her family dog, Milo, and cycling with her children. A strong advocate of community involvement, Becky supports her local girls’ football team, where she volunteers her time and resources by providing refreshments for both home and away teams during games.

Becky’s dedication to law, combined with her experience and passion for serving her community, makes her an integral part of the Winrows Law team as she continues her journey toward becoming a solicitor.

Daryl Cooke 

Fluent in both Welsh and English, Daryl brings a diverse range of experiences to his role at Winrows Law. His professional journey began with six years as a plasterer, where he developed a strong work ethic and practical problem-solving skills. Following this, he spent eight years in the hospitality industry, refining his interpersonal and customer service abilities.

The first in his family to attend university, Daryl completed a three-year Law degree, graduating with a 2:1. During his studies, he developed a particular interest in land law, equity, family law, wills and estates, and conveyancing. This firm foundation has inspired him to pursue a career in law, with a focus on these areas as he continues to build his legal expertise at Winrows Law.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Daryl leads an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities such as walking with his two dogs, Jack and Cymro, and hiking. He is also a fan of boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. An avid animal lover, Daryl cares for his two Kakarikis (parrots) and two corn snakes, reflecting his deep connection with nature and animals.

In his free time, Daryl enjoys socialising with friends and is a passionate music enthusiast, being particularly fond of Meat Loaf’s timeless, classic hits.
